Description

This beautifully illustrated and interactive official tie-in to the wonderful Harry Potter films is a truly immersive reading experience for fans of all ages . This book is lavishly illustrated and has dozens of fold-outs and stick-ins, each more surprising than the last.

Normally I don’t elaborate on products or production based book, but this one is good enough to do just that. Harry’s acceptance letter to Hogwarts, a four-page fold out with a map of Diagon Alley (along with a creepy Borgin and Burkes catalog), an Advanced Potion Making text book with adhesive labels for your own home-brewed potions, a Quidditch World Cup Programme, an invitation to the Yule Ball, and among many other such treasures, your very own Marauder’s Map! My assistant Nisha came into my office to recommend an unpublished manuscript by a first-time novelist that she had enjoyed.Harry Potter: Film Wizardry does just that: a scrapbook that encompassed the decade-long saga, where everyone from the producers, directors, and production designer explain in details how they conceptualised some of the plot points and settings; and the actors, including the three stars, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson, hit memory lane to disclose some of the best, funniest, and sometimes most uncomfortable times they had playing Harry, Ron, and Hermione in the films.

Overall the pullouts and book are awesome (when present) these pullouts and maps make the book but Ian the listings it neglects to outline what exactly is missing which is unacceptable. Series of note include "A Century of Cinema", "The Sound of Movies" and "'Ain't No Mickey Mouse Business! Brian Sibley is the author of other bestselling behind-the-screen books, like The Lord of the Rings: The Making of the Movie Trilogy and The Land of Narnia. The only difference, other than the colour, it that instead of taking up the entire cover Harry has his own circle at the top that is entwined in the same background pattern. There are all sorts of tear out and removable items: Harry’s invitation to Hogwarts, programs, product catalogue, tickets, cards, the marauder’s map, etc.All insets and closed envelopes intact and in fine condition, Lavishly illustrated with photos, foldouts, and envelopes.

One or two teasers are a copy of Harry's letter from Hogwarts School and a copy of Libatius Borage's "Advanced Potion-Making" - but it is more fun to discover these yourself! How they made the amazing magical stuff that the movie is filled with it whether clearly viable or even insignificantly but related to the world of the movie and the full picture.

Immerse yourself in the world of the spectacular Harry Potter film series, and learn why Yule Ball ice sculptures never melt, where Galleons, Sickles and Knuts are really "minted", how to get a Hippogriff to work with actors, about the inspiration behind Hogwarts castle, and why Dementors move the way they do. Le voy a poner 5 estrellas porque me ha gustado mucho y se lo recomiendo a todos los potterheads ya que estoy completamente segura de que les encantaría. In brilliant colour images there are costume sketches and designs, story board sequences, memorable scenes created by the concept artists and maps and diagrams illustrating the complex rooms and corridors of Hogwarts School and the mysterious nooks and crannies of Diagon Alley. Step off Platform Nine and Three Quarters and into the hidden world behind the scenes of the Harry Potter film series as Brian Sibley, author of The Lord of the Rings: The Making of the Movie Trilogy, The Land of Narnia, and other bestselling behind-the-screen books, makes the magic more real than ever with stunning art, removable extras, a new Harry Potter photo album, and interviews with director David Yates; actors Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Alan Rickman; and other members of the cast, crew, design and production teams.
